Stamped steel "foreign made" mounts are available on the internet for as little as thirty bucks. Just stick the cheapest display you can find on a wall, feed it some video, and the Digital Signage profits start rolling in. Who needs protection? Hang and bang, baby! Reality check, ok? If you read our FAQ (it's a bit opinionated, but hey, it's our website) you'll note we strongly urge you to do your homework when selecting displays, content delivery and support technology for Digital Signage. There's a big difference between less expensive (read "consumer grade") displays and those intended for commercial 24/7/365 use. Consumer display manufacturers do not warranty their products if used for Digital Signage. Commercial grade displays feature beefier power supplies, better cooling, longer life components and many have specific warranties for commercial use. However, if there are indications of abuse, improper installation, or vandalism the manufacturer will decline to repair or replace a display even if under a commercial warranty. Many Digital Signage entreprenuers have lost their business, reputation and fortune by low-balling their choice of equipment with the hope it will somehow survive in a harsh environment. Success in the Digital Signage marketplace only comes to those who understand what they are selling must be attractive, rugged, reliable and maintainable. Digital Factory Standard Enclosure - Model DF56
 The DF56 standard enclosure consists of three basic parts. We take a Slip Over Bezel crafted to snugly fit your display, add a support channel inside the face of the bezel with a rubberized gasket allowing our clear screen protective cover to be mounted and sealed against thrown liquid damage, then mate the bezel with a rear cover that is fully ventilated. A removable panel is provided for easy access to inputs and power. All parts are powdercoated, painted or made of beautiful brushed stainless steel. Graphics, text or logos can be silkscreened or lasercut into the face of the bezel and/or rear cover adding a very appealing branding opportunity for your client or business. The assembled enclosure can be mounted in portrait or lanscape mode on a pipe, column or flat wall using industry standard wall mounts or a Digital Factory custom mount powder coated or painted to match the assembled enclosure. Fully customizable to meet any requirement, the DF56 can be configured to house media players and other components such as Cat5 receivers, cameras, and power strips either internally or externally. Bezels can be combined into one single unit to house several displays creating a clean seamless look for video walls and back to back display units. The rear cover can be utilized to display advertisements and provides a very attractive finished look - no unsightly wiring or exposed connectors. All fasteners are tamper resistant.  DF56 enclosures can be found in airports throughout the world and many other commercial and retail applications. Since we minimize the bulk of the enclosure as much as possible, the unit retains the appeal of thin flat screens, yet provides a high level of security & safety for your Digital Signage display. DF56 enclosures are not limited to one or two "ganged" single display units. Your displays can be mounted back to back in just about any configuration imaginable. The DF09 allows a Digital Signage display to be fully enclosed and mounted flush to the wall. Besides the obvious benefit of covering the sides, top and bottom, the DF09 is engineered to permit compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations which restrict how far an object can protrude from a wall in a public space. As with every Digital Factory design, the DF09 is fully customizeable for your Digital Signage application. It can cover and protect any size display in either portrait or landscape mode.
